Baldr (also spelled as Baldur or Balder) is a prominent figure in Norse mythology. He is often considered one of the most beloved and benevolent gods in the Norse pantheon. Here are some key aspects of Baldr:
God of Light and Purity: Baldr is primarily known as the god of light, purity, and beauty. He embodies goodness and is often associated with the concept of innocence.
Son of Odin and Frigg: Baldr is the son of Odin, the chief of the Norse gods, and Frigg, the queen of the Aesir. He is a member of the Aesir, one of the two main groups of gods in Norse mythology.
Invulnerability: Baldr was believed to be invulnerable to harm, thanks to a vow his mother Frigg had obtained from all living creatures and objects, promising not to harm him. This made him a symbol of purity and invincibility.
Death and Resurrection: Despite his invulnerability, Baldr's death is a central event in Norse mythology. Loki, the trickster god, tricked Baldr's blind brother, Höðr, into shooting an arrow made of mistletoe at Baldr, which was the only thing that could harm him. Baldr died from this wound.
Grieving and Mourning: Baldr's death brought great sadness to the gods and goddesses. They attempted to retrieve him from the realm of the dead, and his death became a catalyst for the events leading to Ragnarök, the Norse apocalypse.
Return in the Afterlife: Baldr was prophesied to return after Ragnarök, suggesting that he would be reborn and play a role in the new world that emerged after the cataclysmic events of the end of the world.
Baldr's story is a poignant and tragic one in Norse mythology, highlighting themes of beauty, innocence, and the inevitability of fate. His death and potential return serve as important elements in the overall narrative of the Norse cosmology.

Great item! Sales acted promptly when I asked about the whereabouts of my package.

Arrived when expected and the item is beautiful. Looks quality and great detail. It is a gift for someone and I don't think they'll be disappointed with it. Also, I had some concerns about delivery time as I was on a tight schedule but had plenty of communication with the seller and it was delivered by Royal Mail which was reassuring.

Made it all the way to USA in one piece. It’s fantastic. Better than expected and heavy. Little guys got some weight to him. Very happy with purchase.
