"Fortune" figurine stands 27 cm tall and is crafted using the cold cast bronze technique. Cold cast bronze involves shaping the metal without applying high heat, which preserves the details and quality of the figurine while giving it a lightweight and durable structure.

The figurine features an elegant design and is associated with symbols of luck and abundance. Known as Tyche, the "Fortune" figurine offers high decorative and aesthetic value. The cold cast bronze technique allows the figurine to reflect the rich textures and luster typical of traditional bronze sculptures, providing a high standard of artistic and aesthetic quality.

In Greek mythology, "Fortune" is known as Tyche, the goddess of luck, fate, and prosperity. Tyche played a significant role in determining the fortunes of individuals and cities. She was often depicted with symbols such as a cornucopia, representing abundance, or a wheel, symbolizing the unpredictable nature of fate. Tyche’s images frequently included a crown or a tower, signifying her role as the protector and benefactor of cities.

Tyche’s influence extended to both personal and communal levels, with her statues and representations being common in ancient city-states. These depictions were meant to invoke her favor and ensure prosperity and protection for the community. Her mythology highlights the belief in the randomness and unpredictability of luck, reflecting the ancient Greeks’ understanding of fate and fortune.

Arrived when expected and the item is beautiful. Looks quality and great detail. It is a gift for someone and I don't think they'll be disappointed with it. Also, I had some concerns about delivery time as I was on a tight schedule but had plenty of communication with the seller and it was delivered by Royal Mail which was reassuring.

This is a gift for my wife who loves owls. This piece of Steampunk art takes the wise bird whom Athena in Greek mythology favours to an entirely new level. I love steampunk art and my wife is quite impressed with this figurine which is well made and quite unique.
