Hathor is a significant goddess in ancient Egyptian mythology. Typically portrayed with the head of a cow adorned with a sun disk and often with horns, Hathor is associated with nature, love, beauty, music, dance, and motherhood.

Known primarily as a goddess of fertility, Hathor is also revered for her role in protection. She is a versatile deity, embodying various aspects of goddesshood. Temples dedicated to Hathor were found in different regions of Egypt.

Hathor is also recognized as a guardian of the spirits of the deceased, guiding and protecting them in the afterlife. In essence, she symbolizes both the joyful aspects of life and influences the transition to the life after death.

Hathor's representation in Egyptian mythology is rich and complex, and her attributes may vary across different periods and cultural contexts.

Arrived when expected and the item is beautiful. Looks quality and great detail. It is a gift for someone and I don't think they'll be disappointed with it. Also, I had some concerns about delivery time as I was on a tight schedule but had plenty of communication with the seller and it was delivered by Royal Mail which was reassuring.

This is a gift for my wife who loves owls. This piece of Steampunk art takes the wise bird whom Athena in Greek mythology favours to an entirely new level. I love steampunk art and my wife is quite impressed with this figurine which is well made and quite unique.
