Description
Description
Emerging from the shadowy folklore of the twilight hours, the bat has long been revered as a creature of both mystery and protection across diverse global traditions. In various cultures, particularly within ancient Mesoamerican iconography, the bat was venerated as a deity associated with the underworld, rebirth, and the hidden cycles of the night. This evocative representation captures that historical reverence, freezing a moment of quiet slumber where the creature remains wrapped in its own protective embrace. Belonging to the themes of gothic curiosity, natural history, and midnight whimsy, this piece invites observers to contemplate the duality of the nocturnal world, offering a sanctuary for small, cherished tokens that deserve to be kept in the stillness of the dark.

Care
Care
Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, and prolonged exposure to moisture or direct sunlight. For bronze and metal pieces, an occasional light coat of wax or polish helps preserve the finish. Porcelain and glass items should be hand-cleaned gently to protect painted or gilded details.
