Description
Description
This bronze sculpture stages the most famous rivalry in finance. On one side a bear rises on its hind legs; on the other a bull lowers its head and charges, the two animals locked in a stand-off across a rocky ground on a long base. The scene is 43 cm wide and 23 cm high, so it has room to tell its story and makes a strong horizontal centrepiece on a desk or credenza.
Design & Artistic Details
In market language a “bull” attacks by thrusting its horns upwards and a “bear” swipes downwards with its paws, which is why the two animals came to stand for rising and falling prices. The sculptor captures exactly that contrast in posture: the bull’s low, forward-driving mass against the bear’s upright, defensive stance. The textured ground between them leads the eye from one animal to the other, and the patina picks out the muscles and fur, so the piece looks equally good from the front and from either end.

Care
Care
Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, and prolonged exposure to moisture or direct sunlight. For bronze and metal pieces, an occasional light coat of wax or polish helps preserve the finish. Porcelain and glass items should be hand-cleaned gently to protect painted or gilded details.

Solid bronze sculptures are cast entirely in metal, traditionally with the lost-wax method. They are heavy, durable and develop a rich patina — pieces to keep for generations.
Cold cast bronze is made from real bronze powder blended with resin and hand-finished, giving an authentic bronze look with finer detail, lighter weight and a more accessible price. The material of each piece is listed on its product page.
