Description
Description
This evocative study captures a feline in the quintessential moment of coiled kinetic potential, a gesture deeply rooted in the artistic traditions of animalier sculpture that flourished during the 19th century. Much like the works of Antoine-Louis Barye, who revolutionized the depiction of beasts by emphasizing their raw, predatory instinct, this piece celebrates the tension between stillness and impending motion. The posture reflects a timeless fascination with the domestic cat as a predator, bridging the gap between the familiar household companion and the wild spirit of the savannah. Belonging to the themes of nature-inspired elegance, animal portraiture, and the celebration of feline grace, this piece invites the observer to witness the sublime focus of a creature poised at the threshold of action.
- Dimensions (L x W x H): 6.5 x 4 x 14 cm (2.6 x 1.6 x 5.5 in)

Care
Care
Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, and prolonged exposure to moisture or direct sunlight. For bronze and metal pieces, an occasional light coat of wax or polish helps preserve the finish. Porcelain and glass items should be hand-cleaned gently to protect painted or gilded details.
