Description
Description
This evocative representation draws upon the late medieval and early Renaissance artistic tradition of the *Danse Macabre*, or the Dance of Death, an allegorical reminder of the universality of mortality. Cloaked in regal attire and adorned with a crown, this figure embodies the concept that death serves as the ultimate equalizer, transcending earthly hierarchies and sovereign power. The inclusion of the scythe serves as the quintessential agricultural metaphor for the "harvesting" of souls, while the hourglass signifies the relentless progression of time and the inevitable depletion of one’s finite lifespan. Rooted in themes of *memento mori* and the macabre, this piece invites reflection on the transience of human existence and the inescapable sovereignty of the end that awaits all, regardless of status or wealth.

Care
Care
Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, and prolonged exposure to moisture or direct sunlight. For bronze and metal pieces, an occasional light coat of wax or polish helps preserve the finish. Porcelain and glass items should be hand-cleaned gently to protect painted or gilded details.
