Description
Description
This piece draws inspiration from the long-standing maritime fascination with the cephalopod, a creature that has captivated sailors and scholars since the accounts of Aristotle and the mythological terrors of the Kraken. Throughout history, the octopus has symbolized both the mystery of the deep sea and the intelligence of the natural world, frequently appearing in Victorian-era natural history illustrations and maritime folklore as a guardian of hidden oceanic treasures. Belonging to the themes of nautical exploration, steampunk aesthetic, and natural history curiosities, this representation captures the watchful, enigmatic essence of a creature that has inhabited the world's oceans for millions of years, reflecting humanity's enduring quest to preserve and venerate the wonders found beneath the waves.

Care
Care
Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, and prolonged exposure to moisture or direct sunlight. For bronze and metal pieces, an occasional light coat of wax or polish helps preserve the finish. Porcelain and glass items should be hand-cleaned gently to protect painted or gilded details.
