Description
Description
The Flight of Icarus, immortalized in Greek mythology, tells the poignant tale of aspiration and hubris. Young Icarus, the son of master craftsman Daedalus, sought to escape captivity in Crete using wings constructed of feathers and wax. Ignoring his father's warnings, Icarus soared too close to the sun, causing the wax to melt and leading to his tragic fall into the sea. This narrative has been a timeless allegory for the dangers of overreaching and the delicate balance between human ambition and caution. The Flight of Icarus, as depicted, embodies themes of adventure, freedom, and the perilous beauty of human desire. It invites us to reflect on our own journeys and the consequences of dreaming beyond our limitations.

Care
Care
Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, and prolonged exposure to moisture or direct sunlight. For bronze and metal pieces, an occasional light coat of wax or polish helps preserve the finish. Porcelain and glass items should be hand-cleaned gently to protect painted or gilded details.
