Description
Description
Drawing inspiration from the architectural traditions of the Middle Ages, this piece reflects the medieval obsession with the macabre and the protective function of the grotesque. Throughout the Gothic period, cathedrals and fortresses were adorned with gargoyles not merely as decorative flourishes, but as spiritual sentinels intended to ward off malevolent forces and protect the sanctity of the interior space. The integration of hooded, skeletal figures and a vigilant gargoyle atop a fortified structure evokes the somber aesthetic of funerary art and the eternal watch over the afterlife. This evocative piece belongs to the Gothic, dark fantasy, and occult-inspired themes, serving as a dark memento mori that bridges the gap between ancient stone-carving traditions and modern myth-making.

Care
Care
Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, and prolonged exposure to moisture or direct sunlight. For bronze and metal pieces, an occasional light coat of wax or polish helps preserve the finish. Porcelain and glass items should be hand-cleaned gently to protect painted or gilded details.
