Description
Description
Gefjon is a goddess in Norse mythology associated with ploughing, foreknowledge, and virginity. She is attested in the Prose Edda, written in the 13th century by Snorri Sturluson, and in various kennings. Gefjon is described as a virgin giantess who appears as a beautiful woman with a cloak of falcon feathers. She is also known for her ability to plow land and create new territory from it. In addition to her association with ploughing, Gefjon has been linked to foreknowledge and prophecy due to her connection with the Vanir god Freyr. Her name may be derived from Old Norse gefa meaning "to give".

Care
Care
Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, and prolonged exposure to moisture or direct sunlight. For bronze and metal pieces, an occasional light coat of wax or polish helps preserve the finish. Porcelain and glass items should be hand-cleaned gently to protect painted or gilded details.
