Description
Description
This evocative composition, "Guardian Angel" by contemporary artist Selina Fenech, draws upon the enduring archetypes of celestial protectors that have permeated human belief systems from Ancient Mesopotamian lamassu to the Renaissance angelic hierarchies. By depicting a transcendent, winged figure enveloping a vulnerable soul in a sanctuary of shelter, the work captures the timeless human yearning for divine oversight and intercession. The intimate embrace, framed by sweeping, encompassing wings, serves as a modern visual metaphor for the protective shroud traditionally associated with the concept of the guardian angel—a spiritual companion believed to guide and defend the individual through the trials of the earthly realm. This piece belongs to the themes of spiritual protection, divine love, and the ethereal beauty of fantasy art, offering a contemplative look at the intersection between the mortal experience and the mystical unknown.

Care
Care
Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, and prolonged exposure to moisture or direct sunlight. For bronze and metal pieces, an occasional light coat of wax or polish helps preserve the finish. Porcelain and glass items should be hand-cleaned gently to protect painted or gilded details.
