Description
Description
This composition draws upon the long-standing Byzantine tradition of the Deësis and the hagiographic canon, centering on the figure of Christ Pantocrator, the Almighty, flanked by the foundational witnesses of the Christian faith. The iconography echoes the scholarly arrangements found in historical mosaic programs and illuminated manuscripts, where the apostles are depicted with their traditional attributes, emphasizing their individual roles in the propagation of the early Church. Each figure, from Saint Peter holding the keys of the kingdom to the Evangelists identified by their scrolls and codices, serves as a testament to the theological concept of the Apostolic Succession. This arrangement celebrates the themes of spiritual authority, the dissemination of divine revelation, and the historical continuity of the faith, grounding the central figure of Christ within the collective memory and historical mission of his disciples.

Care
Care
Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, and prolonged exposure to moisture or direct sunlight. For bronze and metal pieces, an occasional light coat of wax or polish helps preserve the finish. Porcelain and glass items should be hand-cleaned gently to protect painted or gilded details.
