Description
Description
This depiction captures the profound narrative of the Passion, a central motif in Christian iconography that has evolved through centuries of artistic devotion. At the apex rests the titulus bearing the acronym INRI, derived from the Latin phrase *Iesus Nazarenus, Rex Iudaeorum*, signifying the charge brought against Jesus during his sentencing by Pontius Pilate. The figure of Christ, positioned upon the cross, serves as a meditative focal point, inviting contemplation on themes of sacrifice, ultimate redemption, and the intersection of human suffering with divine grace. Such representations have historically anchored communal prayer and private reflection, acting as a visual testament to the historical events of the first century that fundamentally reshaped the spiritual landscape of the Western world. This piece belongs to the themes of sacred art, Christian iconography, and liturgical devotional objects.

Care
Care
Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, and prolonged exposure to moisture or direct sunlight. For bronze and metal pieces, an occasional light coat of wax or polish helps preserve the finish. Porcelain and glass items should be hand-cleaned gently to protect painted or gilded details.
