Description
Description
This poignant depiction captures the Maundy Thursday narrative from the Gospel of John, wherein Jesus performs the humble task of washing his disciples' feet, an act that fundamentally redefined the nature of leadership and service. By stripping away his outer garment and adopting the posture of a servant—a duty historically reserved for the lowest-ranking members of a household—Christ established a profound standard of humility and egalitarian love that has resonated through centuries of theological discourse and artistic tradition. The composition evokes the intimate, solemn atmosphere of the Last Supper, underscoring the themes of Christian servant leadership, unconditional compassion, and the profound sanctity of humble devotion. As a timeless representation of spiritual grace, this piece belongs to the themes of biblical narrative art, devotional iconography, and the liturgical history of the Passion of Christ.

Care
Care
Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, and prolonged exposure to moisture or direct sunlight. For bronze and metal pieces, an occasional light coat of wax or polish helps preserve the finish. Porcelain and glass items should be hand-cleaned gently to protect painted or gilded details.
