Description
Description
Carved into the granite face of the Black Hills in South Dakota, the Mount Rushmore National Memorial stands as a monumental tribute to the foundations and evolution of the American experiment. Conceived by historian Doane Robinson and brought to life by sculptor Gutzon Borglum between 1927 and 1941, this awe-inspiring landmark captures the visages of George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt, and Abraham Lincoln. These four leaders were selected to represent the nation’s birth, growth, development, and preservation, respectively, embodying the democratic ideals and historical narratives that define the United States. This representation explores the themes of American patriotism, national heritage, historical legacy, and the pursuit of political excellence through the lens of iconic leadership.

Care
Care
Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, and prolonged exposure to moisture or direct sunlight. For bronze and metal pieces, an occasional light coat of wax or polish helps preserve the finish. Porcelain and glass items should be hand-cleaned gently to protect painted or gilded details.
