Description
Description
This evocative figure draws inspiration from the enduring tradition of the crouched male form, a motif famously explored by masters such as Michelangelo in his sketches for the Medici Chapel. The posture captures a profound sense of human vulnerability, echoing the Neoclassical preoccupation with the raw, emotional weight of the solitary figure. By stripping away extraneous detail, the work emphasizes the tension between physical strength and the internal psychological state, inviting contemplation on the themes of introspection, human resilience, and the quiet intimacy of self-embrace. It stands as a timeless representation of the universal experience of seeking comfort within oneself, bridging the gap between historical artistic inquiry and modern emotional expression.
- Dimensions (L x W x H): 10.5 x 7.5 x 10.5 cm (4.1 x 3.0 x 4.1 in)

Care
Care
Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, and prolonged exposure to moisture or direct sunlight. For bronze and metal pieces, an occasional light coat of wax or polish helps preserve the finish. Porcelain and glass items should be hand-cleaned gently to protect painted or gilded details.
