Description
Description
The Ouija board, also known as a spirit board or talking board, is a flat board with letters, numbers, and other symbols printed on it. It is often used as a tool for divination and communicating with spirits or entities from beyond the physical realm.
Users of the Ouija board typically place their fingers on a small planchette, or movable pointer, and ask questions. It is believed that spirits will move the planchette to spell out messages in response to these questions.
The use of Ouija boards has been the subject of controversy and debate. Some people believe that they can be used to communicate with spirits, while others consider them to be nothing more than a game or a hoax. Skeptics often point to the ideomotor effect, a psychological phenomenon in which the subconscious mind can influence muscle movements and cause the planchette to move unconsciously.
It is important to note that using a Ouija board can be potentially dangerous, as it can attract negative energies and entities. Additionally, it is not recommended for children or those who are not mentally stable. It is always important to approach any type of divination or spiritual practice with caution and respect.

Care
Care
Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, and prolonged exposure to moisture or direct sunlight. For bronze and metal pieces, an occasional light coat of wax or polish helps preserve the finish. Porcelain and glass items should be hand-cleaned gently to protect painted or gilded details.
