Description
Description
The imagery of a small, vulnerable figure cradled within the expansive palms of a greater power evokes a long-standing tradition in religious iconography, symbolizing divine providence, absolute trust, and the intimate protection afforded by the Creator. This composition draws upon the theological concept of the "hollow of His hand," a recurring metaphor in Judeo-Christian literature representing security, shelter from the tribulations of the world, and the unceasing vigilance of the divine. By juxtaposing the fragility of youth against the strength of oversized, supportive hands, this piece invites contemplation on the nature of faith as a sanctuary, echoing centuries of devotional art meant to provide comfort and spiritual assurance to the observer. This work belongs to the themes of spirituality, divine guidance, and the comfort of faith, serving as a poignant reminder of the enduring connection between the mortal soul and the eternal.

Care
Care
Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, and prolonged exposure to moisture or direct sunlight. For bronze and metal pieces, an occasional light coat of wax or polish helps preserve the finish. Porcelain and glass items should be hand-cleaned gently to protect painted or gilded details.
