Description
Description
This representation of Gautama Buddha captures the moment of profound spiritual equilibrium, seated in the full lotus position upon a double-lotus throne, a symbol of purity arising from the mire of worldly existence. The right hand is raised in the Abhaya Mudra, the gesture of fearlessness and protection, which serves to dispel anxiety and offer reassurance to the faithful. By tradition, the depiction of the Ushnisha, or the cranial bump, signifies the Buddha’s heightened wisdom and expanded consciousness achieved through enlightenment. This piece belongs to the themes of Eastern spirituality, Buddhist iconography, and the pursuit of inner tranquility, reflecting the enduring legacy of the historical Buddha’s journey toward the cessation of suffering.

Care
Care
Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, and prolonged exposure to moisture or direct sunlight. For bronze and metal pieces, an occasional light coat of wax or polish helps preserve the finish. Porcelain and glass items should be hand-cleaned gently to protect painted or gilded details.
