Description
Description
Evoking the Memento Mori traditions of the late Victorian era, this piece serves as a poignant meditation on the inexorable passage of time and the transient nature of human existence. In an age characterized by the rapid industrialization of the 19th century, artisans often juxtaposed the grim reality of mortality with the burgeoning optimism of mechanical innovation, reflecting a society obsessed with both the limitations of the biological form and the limitless potential of the machine age. This artifact stands as a quintessential emblem of the Steampunk and Gothic aesthetics, harmonizing the macabre symbolism of the skull with the intricate, rhythmic complexity of Victorian-era horology to create a visual dialogue between life, death, and the perpetual motion of the gears of history.

Care
Care
Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, and prolonged exposure to moisture or direct sunlight. For bronze and metal pieces, an occasional light coat of wax or polish helps preserve the finish. Porcelain and glass items should be hand-cleaned gently to protect painted or gilded details.
