Description
Description
This whimsical depiction draws inspiration from the Victorian fascination with anthropomorphism, a trend popularized during the 19th century through works such as Lewis Carroll’s *Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland* and the satirical illustrations of J.J. Grandville. By merging the cunning archetype of the folk-lore fox with the industrial aesthetic of the steampunk genre, this piece evokes the era’s romanticized obsession with steam-powered innovation, clockwork precision, and the daring exploits of stagecoach highwaymen. Rooted in the science fiction subgenre that reimagines the future through the lens of the Industrial Revolution, the figure captures the adventurous spirit of a time when the boundaries between humanity and the animal kingdom were blurred within the imaginative landscapes of speculative fiction. It belongs to the steampunk, Victorian science fantasy, and anthropomorphic art themes, celebrating a world where high-society manners collide with the gritty, mechanical pulse of a neo-Victorian frontier.

Care
Care
Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, and prolonged exposure to moisture or direct sunlight. For bronze and metal pieces, an occasional light coat of wax or polish helps preserve the finish. Porcelain and glass items should be hand-cleaned gently to protect painted or gilded details.
