Description
Description
Drawing upon the classical tradition of Themis and Justitia, this figure embodies the enduring ideals of impartiality and moral fortitude within the legal and philosophical landscape. The blindfold, an addition that gained prominence in European iconography during the 16th century, signifies the transcendence of objective truth over external influence, status, or prejudice, while the twin scales represent the meticulous weighing of evidence and the harmonious balance of competing interests. Rooted in the aesthetic of antiquity, the composition captures a moment of solemn gravity, reflecting the historical human pursuit of equity and the systemic order required for a functioning civilization. This piece resonates deeply with the themes of law, jurisprudence, ethics, and the pursuit of truth, serving as a powerful reminder of the foundational principles that uphold the social contract.

Care
Care
Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, and prolonged exposure to moisture or direct sunlight. For bronze and metal pieces, an occasional light coat of wax or polish helps preserve the finish. Porcelain and glass items should be hand-cleaned gently to protect painted or gilded details.
