Description
The chair was possibly placed in the tomb of Sitamun, the daugher of Amenhotep III and Tiye. The seat is made of woven plant fibres. Two female heads are set in the front of arms. With a mirror effect half-naked Sitamun sits on a chair ready to put on the necklace on a tray held by a girl in front of her. The decoration on the surface of the arms includes four girls carrying trays of gold rings, three images of Bes playing drums and dancing with knives
