Description
Description
This piece evokes the timeless tradition of the "bridal carry," a gesture deeply embedded in human history and folklore as an act of protection, devotion, and new beginnings. Rooted in ancient customs where a groom would carry his bride across the threshold of their home to safeguard her from malevolent spirits and signal the transition into a shared life, the image serves as an enduring symbol of romantic intimacy. The composition captures a moment of suspended grace, where the physical strength of the male figure is matched by the vulnerable, trusting surrender of his partner, reflecting the ideal of mutual reliance. Belonging to the themes of romanticism, human connection, and the celebration of love, this work invites contemplation on the sanctity of partnership and the strength found in profound emotional commitment.

Care
Care
Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, and prolonged exposure to moisture or direct sunlight. For bronze and metal pieces, an occasional light coat of wax or polish helps preserve the finish. Porcelain and glass items should be hand-cleaned gently to protect painted or gilded details.
