Description
Description
This piece depicts Anubis, the ancient Egyptian god associated with mummification and the afterlife, holding a set of scales. Known for his jackal head, Anubis played a crucial role in the journey of the soul to the afterlife. His duty was to weigh the heart of the deceased against the feather of Ma'at, the goddess of truth and justice, to determine their worthiness for eternal life. This art piece embodies themes of judgment, balance, and the afterlife, capturing the mystique of ancient Egyptian mythology and their beliefs about mortality and morality.

Care
Care
Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, and prolonged exposure to moisture or direct sunlight. For bronze and metal pieces, an occasional light coat of wax or polish helps preserve the finish. Porcelain and glass items should be hand-cleaned gently to protect painted or gilded details.
