Description
Description
Capturing the fascination of the 1920s with the discovery of Tutankhamun’s tomb, this piece exemplifies the Egyptian Revival movement that permeated the Art Deco era. The stylized lotus blossoms and geometric precision reflect the period's obsession with integrating ancient iconography into modern luxury, bridging the gap between the monumental scale of the Nile valley and contemporary ornamental design. By harmonizing the regal, stoic profile of a pharaoh with the rhythmic, stylized botanical patterns rooted in pharaonic architecture, the work serves as a testament to the enduring Western cultural allure of Egyptomania. This item belongs to the themes of Egyptian Revival, Art Deco historical influence, and the artistic exploration of ancient motifs in early twentieth-century decorative arts.

Care
Care
Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, and prolonged exposure to moisture or direct sunlight. For bronze and metal pieces, an occasional light coat of wax or polish helps preserve the finish. Porcelain and glass items should be hand-cleaned gently to protect painted or gilded details.
