Description
Description
This composition evokes the spirit of 1920s Egyptomania, a period fueled by the sensational discovery of Tutankhamun’s tomb and the subsequent global obsession with ancient Nile civilizations. The central pharaoh, adorned in the regal nemes headdress and holding the ceremonial crook and flail, serves as a testament to the divine authority of the monarchy, flanked by attendants who embody the ritualistic grace often depicted in tomb reliefs and palace iconography. Hovering above, the solar disc with outstretched wings represents the protective power of Ra, framing the scene within a stylistic aesthetic that seamlessly blends the rigid geometry of the Art Deco movement with the solemn, eternal grandeur of ancient Egyptian funerary art. Belonging to the themes of Egyptology, Classical Antiquity, and the Art Deco revival, this piece captures a historical fascination where royal iconography meets the sophisticated, streamlined elegance of the early twentieth century.

Care
Care
Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, and prolonged exposure to moisture or direct sunlight. For bronze and metal pieces, an occasional light coat of wax or polish helps preserve the finish. Porcelain and glass items should be hand-cleaned gently to protect painted or gilded details.
