Description
Description
Rooted in the long-standing tradition of animal commemoration, this piece evokes the Victorian-era sentimentality that transformed the depiction of beloved companions into works of art. The Beagle, an ancient breed celebrated since the Elizabethan era for its keen scent and unwavering loyalty, is portrayed here with the same dignifying focus found in 19th-century bronze statuary. The surrounding floral motifs, specifically the rose, have served as classical symbols of eternal love and remembrance throughout Western art history, bridging the gap between grief and beauty. By intertwining the noble posture of the faithful hound with the romantic symbolism of the heart and blossoming roses, this work aligns with themes of devotion, the pastoral heritage of companionship, and the timeless endeavor to honor those whose presence left an indelible mark on the home.

Care
Care
Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, and prolonged exposure to moisture or direct sunlight. For bronze and metal pieces, an occasional light coat of wax or polish helps preserve the finish. Porcelain and glass items should be hand-cleaned gently to protect painted or gilded details.
