Description
Description
Cailleach, revered in Celtic mythology as the formidable goddess of winter and storms, embodies the raw, untamed forces of nature that signal the transition to the colder season. Her story is woven into the fabric of ancient Gaelic legend, where she is known as a creator deity, shaping the landscape with her mighty hammer. Often depicted as an old woman, she is both feared and respected as a symbol of transformation and wisdom. Her presence in folklore is not only a testament to the reverent observation of seasonal shifts by the Celts but also an embodiment of themes such as the cyclical nature of life, the harsh beauty of winter, and the power of female sovereignty. Through her, the mystery and magic of the natural world come alive, reminding us of both the fragility and strength found within the changing seasons.

Care
Care
Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, and prolonged exposure to moisture or direct sunlight. For bronze and metal pieces, an occasional light coat of wax or polish helps preserve the finish. Porcelain and glass items should be hand-cleaned gently to protect painted or gilded details.
