Description
Description
This collection draws inspiration from the enduring imagery of the Victorian Christmas, a period that profoundly shaped the festive traditions we recognize today. Each figure evokes a distinct narrative thread from that golden age of Yuletide sentimentality, from the regimented stoicism of the toy soldier—a nod to the popularity of wooden figurines in the 19th century—to the rocking horse, which served as a staple of hearthside nurseries across Europe and America. Alongside these symbols of play sit the celestial radiance of the guiding star and the nostalgic motif of the winter skate, both reflecting the era’s deep-seated fascination with the magical qualities of a snowy, midnight season. Collectively, these pieces embody themes of traditional nostalgia, childhood innocence, and the timeless wonder of winter lore, capturing the essence of historical holiday charm within a single, curated set.

Care
Care
Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, and prolonged exposure to moisture or direct sunlight. For bronze and metal pieces, an occasional light coat of wax or polish helps preserve the finish. Porcelain and glass items should be hand-cleaned gently to protect painted or gilded details.
