Description
Description
This depiction of the Evil Queen draws upon the archetypal figure of the vanity-obsessed monarch, a literary trope deeply rooted in the folklore of the Brothers Grimm and cemented in the cultural imagination by 20th-century animation. Her iconic regalia, featuring the pointed crown and severe, high-collared silhouette, signifies a preoccupation with absolute power and the desperate preservation of youth. Clutching the talismanic poisoned apple and observing her reflection in the handheld mirror, she embodies the classic historical narrative of the "wicked stepmother," a figure representing the dangers of jealousy and the corruption of beauty in European fairy tale tradition. Belonging to the themes of dark fantasy, folklore, and villainous iconography, this piece captures the essence of a cautionary tale where obsession leads to ultimate ruin.

Care
Care
Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, and prolonged exposure to moisture or direct sunlight. For bronze and metal pieces, an occasional light coat of wax or polish helps preserve the finish. Porcelain and glass items should be hand-cleaned gently to protect painted or gilded details.
