Description
Description
This piece serves as a poignant reminder of the central tenet of the Christian faith, depicting the Passion of Christ with traditional reverence. The inclusion of the "INRI" titulus—an abbreviation of the Latin phrase *Iesus Nazarenus, Rex Iudaeorum*—references the sign posted over Jesus during his crucifixion, as recounted in the Gospel of John. Such depictions have long served as focal points for private devotion and liturgical contemplation, inviting the observer to reflect upon themes of sacrifice, redemption, and spiritual solemnity. Rooted in centuries of ecclesiastical tradition, this representation belongs to the themes of sacred iconography, religious heritage, and contemplative spirituality, offering a solemn connection to the historical narrative of the faith.

Care
Care
Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, and prolonged exposure to moisture or direct sunlight. For bronze and metal pieces, an occasional light coat of wax or polish helps preserve the finish. Porcelain and glass items should be hand-cleaned gently to protect painted or gilded details.
