Description
Description
This composition draws upon the long-standing Western tradition of the crucifix, a central iconographic motif that serves as a focal point for contemplation on the narrative of the Passion. Featuring the characteristic "INRI" titulus—an abbreviation of the Latin phrase *Iesus Nazarenus, Rex Iudaeorum*—the representation evokes the historical and theological weight of the crucifixion narrative as articulated in the Christian Gospels. Throughout the history of sacred art, this juxtaposition of the figure of Christ against the vertical and horizontal axes of the cross has functioned as a profound symbol of devotion, sacrifice, and redemption, grounding the viewer in a visual language that has remained central to liturgical and private prayer for centuries. Belonging to the themes of Christian religious devotion, classical sacred iconography, and historical theological symbolism, this piece invites quiet reflection and serves as a poignant reminder of the core tenets of faith.

Care
Care
Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, and prolonged exposure to moisture or direct sunlight. For bronze and metal pieces, an occasional light coat of wax or polish helps preserve the finish. Porcelain and glass items should be hand-cleaned gently to protect painted or gilded details.
