Description
Description
This representation of the crucifixion draws upon centuries of Christian iconography, capturing the profound pathos associated with the Passion of Christ. The figure is depicted with a crown of thorns and the traditional titulus above his head, bearing the inscription "INRI"—an acronym for the Latin *Iesus Nazarenus, Rex Iudaeorum* (Jesus the Nazarene, King of the Jews)—which dates back to the historical accounts of the Gospels and the subsequent emergence of the crucifix as a central devotional object in art and liturgy. Themes of sacrifice, redemption, and spiritual reflection are deeply woven into this imagery, inviting contemplation on the themes of faith and solemn reverence that have inspired countless generations of worshippers and artists throughout the history of Western civilization.

Care
Care
Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, and prolonged exposure to moisture or direct sunlight. For bronze and metal pieces, an occasional light coat of wax or polish helps preserve the finish. Porcelain and glass items should be hand-cleaned gently to protect painted or gilded details.
