Description
Description
This evocative scene depicts the climactic clash at the Battle of Hattin in 1187, a pivotal moment in medieval history that fundamentally altered the course of the Crusades. On the arid, sun-scorched plains near the Horns of Hattin, the forces of the Ayyubid Sultanate, commanded by Saladin, engaged the exhausted armies of the Kingdom of Jerusalem. The encounter serves as a testament to the tactical brilliance of Saladin, who utilized the environment and scorched-earth maneuvers to decisively overcome the Crusader heavy cavalry, ultimately leading to the fall of Jerusalem and the collapse of the Latin Kingdom's defensive posture in the Levant. Belonging to themes of medieval military history, the Crusades, and the struggle between Eastern and Western empires, this depiction captures the intensity and profound geopolitical significance of a struggle that continues to define the historical narrative of the Near East.

Care
Care
Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, and prolonged exposure to moisture or direct sunlight. For bronze and metal pieces, an occasional light coat of wax or polish helps preserve the finish. Porcelain and glass items should be hand-cleaned gently to protect painted or gilded details.
