Description
Description
This exquisite piece draws inspiration from the Neoclassical artistic movement of the 18th and 19th centuries, a period characterized by a resurgence of interest in classical antiquity and the romanticized depiction of mythology. The subject, a youthful Cupid—the Roman god of desire, affection, and erotic love—is portrayed with the characteristic grace and delicate anatomy favored by artists of the era who sought to evoke the sentimentality and idealism of the Greco-Roman tradition. By capturing the deity poised mid-flight, the work embodies the prevailing themes of romance, celestial beauty, and the omnipresence of love within the human experience. As an evocative emblem of the divine, this figure serves as a timeless testament to the enduring influence of mythological narratives on decorative arts and the classical pursuit of aesthetic harmony.

Care
Care
Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, and prolonged exposure to moisture or direct sunlight. For bronze and metal pieces, an occasional light coat of wax or polish helps preserve the finish. Porcelain and glass items should be hand-cleaned gently to protect painted or gilded details.
