Description
Description
The Dachshund, known for its distinctive elongated body and spirited personality, traces its historical roots back to the early 15th century in Germany where it was bred to hunt badgers. Often referred to as "badger dogs", these fearless hunters were adored by European royalty, with the breed eventually becoming a symbol of loyalty and courage. In art and culture, the Dachshund has been celebrated for its unique silhouette and endearing nature. It is associated with themes of resilience, companionship, and the charming allure of the past. With its rich heritage and significant role in canine history, the Dachshund continues to be a beloved figure, reminding us of the deep bonds shared between humans and their four-legged friends.

Care
Care
Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, and prolonged exposure to moisture or direct sunlight. For bronze and metal pieces, an occasional light coat of wax or polish helps preserve the finish. Porcelain and glass items should be hand-cleaned gently to protect painted or gilded details.
