Description
Description
Captured at the height of his idealistic fervor, this depiction evokes Miguel de Cervantes’ immortal protagonist as he sets forth on his quest to revive the age of chivalry. Don Quixote is rendered in the traditional accouterments of a knight-errant, his weary countenance reflecting the melancholy and unshakable resolve of a man lost in his own noble delusions. Astride his loyal steed, Rocinante, he carries the lance and shield that symbolize his quixotic struggle against perceived injustices, echoing the literary transition from late medieval romance to the dawn of the modern novel. This piece belongs to the themes of classical literature, Spanish Golden Age iconography, and the romanticized history of medieval knighthood, serving as an enduring homage to the dreamer who tilts at windmills in the pursuit of virtue.

Care
Care
Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, and prolonged exposure to moisture or direct sunlight. For bronze and metal pieces, an occasional light coat of wax or polish helps preserve the finish. Porcelain and glass items should be hand-cleaned gently to protect painted or gilded details.
