Description
Description
In Roman mythology, Fortuna stands as the capricious arbiter of luck, fate, and prosperity, a deity whose influence governed the unpredictable nature of human fortune. Often depicted with the cornucopia—the horn of plenty—she symbolizes the overflowing abundance and bounty bestowed upon the blessed, while her blindfold serves as a poignant reminder of the impartiality and often arbitrary whim with which fate is distributed among mortals. This representation draws upon the classical tradition of honoring the goddess who determined the success of empires and the whims of individual destiny alike. Belonging to themes of classical antiquity, mythological symbolism, and the pursuit of abundance, this piece captures the enigmatic balance between grace and unpredictability inherent in the ancient understanding of the human condition.

Care
Care
Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, and prolonged exposure to moisture or direct sunlight. For bronze and metal pieces, an occasional light coat of wax or polish helps preserve the finish. Porcelain and glass items should be hand-cleaned gently to protect painted or gilded details.
