Description
Description
Representing the Roman deity of luck and prosperity, this figure embodies the ancient belief in the capricious nature of destiny. Often depicted in classical antiquity with a cornucopia to symbolize abundance, she holds the power to bestow success or misfortune upon humanity, regardless of merit. The inclusion of a blindfold reflects the later, syncretic interpretation of the goddess, emphasizing her impartiality and the unpredictable distribution of fortune that has captivated observers for millennia. This piece draws upon themes of classical mythology, the pursuit of prosperity, and the philosophical exploration of fate, serving as a poignant reminder of the enduring human fascination with the whims of chance.

Care
Care
Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, and prolonged exposure to moisture or direct sunlight. For bronze and metal pieces, an occasional light coat of wax or polish helps preserve the finish. Porcelain and glass items should be hand-cleaned gently to protect painted or gilded details.
