Description
Description
Advent is a celebration commemorating both the birth of Jesus at Christmas and his awaited return during the Second Coming. Traditionally, Advent commences on the fourth Sunday prior to Christmas and concludes on Christmas Eve. These protocols symbolize how Christ is born into our hearts, families, and homes.
During the Advent Season, an empty manger is typically featured in Nativity scenes in preparation for the arrival of Baby Jesus on Christmas Eve. Baby Jesus is placed in the manger late on Christmas Eve night, and a halo is often placed on His head as a final gesture, symbolizing the unifying love and joy that has been blessed onto the family.
Prayer to the Holy Infant-Jesus
Venerable Sister Margaret of the Blessed Sacrament
Infant Jesus, I come to you,
Infant Jesus, look at me,
Infant Jesus, listen to me,
Infant Jesus, I have faith in you.
Make my heart gentle and humble like yours,
Pure and Innocent like yours,
Obedient and confident like yours,
Generous and patient like yours.
Untie me from everything that takes me away from you
and attract me entirely.
May I live like you and for you,
in simplicity and perseverance,
in the joys and hardships of this life,
to live in Your glory, in heaven with You.
Amen.

Care
Care
Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, and prolonged exposure to moisture or direct sunlight. For bronze and metal pieces, an occasional light coat of wax or polish helps preserve the finish. Porcelain and glass items should be hand-cleaned gently to protect painted or gilded details.
