Description
Description
This striking piece captures the flamboyant essence of the 1970s and 80s glam‑rock movement—an era defined by theatrical performance, extravagant stage personas, and the raw, electric energy of stadium‑filling anthems. Drawing on the iconic visual aesthetics of the genre, the depiction employs quintessential motifs: heavy theatrical makeup, cascading rock‑and‑roll hair, and an unapologetic penchant for studded leather. By anthropomorphizing a canine subject as a guitar‑wielding rock star, this work highlights the lasting cultural impact of glam rock’s campy, defiant, and high‑fashion approach to musical expression. The piece serves as a playful cultural artifact, reflecting the enduring legacy of an era that transformed concert stages into immersive, high‑octane spectacles, firmly rooting itself in the thematic intersection of music history, performance art, and contemporary pop‑culture nostalgia.

Care
Care
Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, and prolonged exposure to moisture or direct sunlight. For bronze and metal pieces, an occasional light coat of wax or polish helps preserve the finish. Porcelain and glass items should be hand-cleaned gently to protect painted or gilded details.
