Description
Description
The "Baptism of Jesus in Jordan" wall plaque, part of the Luminous Mysteries in Christian art, depicts a pivotal moment in the life of Jesus Christ when he was baptized by John the Baptist in the River Jordan. This event symbolizes the beginning of Jesus' public ministry and highlights themes of humility, obedience, and the divine affirmation of his mission. The artwork often captures the serene waters of the Jordan River, with Jesus immersed and a dove representing the Holy Spirit descending from the heavens. This imagery serves to inspire reflection on spiritual rebirth and the sacrament of baptism, inviting viewers to contemplate the transformative power of faith. The plaque is not only a decorative piece but also a reminder of the significance of this profound moment in Christian belief.

Care
Care
Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, and prolonged exposure to moisture or direct sunlight. For bronze and metal pieces, an occasional light coat of wax or polish helps preserve the finish. Porcelain and glass items should be hand-cleaned gently to protect painted or gilded details.
