Description
Description
The Mark Two Grenadier Skull with Chains finds its lineage in the grim iconography of 20th-century trench warfare, evoking the lethal efficiency of the Mk 2 fragmentation grenade—famously known as the "pineapple"—which became a quintessential symbol of infantry combat during the Second World War. By fusing the utilitarian silhouette of this explosive ordinance with the visceral, memento mori imagery of the skull, the piece serves as a striking exploration of conflict, industrial decay, and the thin line between mortality and machinery. This work belongs to the dark industrial and post-apocalyptic themes, reflecting a fascination with mechanical warfare and the stark aesthetic of battlefield relics reimagined for a dystopian future.

Care
Care
Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, and prolonged exposure to moisture or direct sunlight. For bronze and metal pieces, an occasional light coat of wax or polish helps preserve the finish. Porcelain and glass items should be hand-cleaned gently to protect painted or gilded details.
