Description
Description
This captivating composition draws upon the ancient maritime folklore of the Mediterranean, where dolphins were revered as divine escorts of the sea, often depicted as guides for souls traveling to the Isles of the Blessed. In classical mythology, sea nymphs and sirens were frequently associated with these intelligent creatures, serving as symbols of the duality of the ocean—its serene beauty and its untamed mystery. The figure, poised in a moment of melodic resonance with a conch shell, evokes the maritime legends where such calls were thought to summon the tides or signal the arrival of oceanic deities. This work firmly belongs to the themes of classical mythology, oceanic lore, and the romanticized symbolism of the deep sea, capturing an idealized vision of the harmony between human-like entities and the creatures of the tide.

Care
Care
Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, and prolonged exposure to moisture or direct sunlight. For bronze and metal pieces, an occasional light coat of wax or polish helps preserve the finish. Porcelain and glass items should be hand-cleaned gently to protect painted or gilded details.
