Description
Description
This evocative representation draws its inspiration from the 1830 Marian apparitions witnessed by Saint Catherine Labouré in Paris, a pivotal event in 19th-century Catholic history that gave rise to the design of the Miraculous Medal. The central figure stands with arms outstretched, emanating rays of grace that descend toward the earth, while she triumphantly treads upon a serpent, symbolizing the conquest over sin as decreed by the visionary's request to have an image struck to commemorate the event. Encircling the figure is the foundational prayer, "O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee," which encapsulates the theological devotion to the Immaculate Conception that grew exponentially following the public dissemination of the medal. This piece serves as a solemn tribute to a moment of profound spiritual significance, deeply rooted in the themes of Christian faith, divine intercession, historical religious iconography, and the veneration of the Blessed Mother.

Care
Care
Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, and prolonged exposure to moisture or direct sunlight. For bronze and metal pieces, an occasional light coat of wax or polish helps preserve the finish. Porcelain and glass items should be hand-cleaned gently to protect painted or gilded details.
