Description
Description
This depiction of the Holy Family draws inspiration from a centuries-old tradition of the crèche, a devotional practice popularized by Saint Francis of Assisi in 1223 to vividly illustrate the narrative of the Nativity. The figures are framed within a stylized arch reminiscent of Gothic architectural motifs, signifying the transition from the sacred mysteries of the event into the devotional spaces of the faithful. At the apex, a cut-out star serves as a symbolic beacon, referencing the celestial guide that drew the Magi to Bethlehem, grounding this representation in the longstanding artistic endeavor to translate theological concepts into tangible, meditative forms. This piece aligns with themes of traditional holiday heritage, religious devotion, and the historical celebration of the Advent season, serving as a contemplative focal point for reflection on the foundational story of the Christmas narrative.

Care
Care
Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, and prolonged exposure to moisture or direct sunlight. For bronze and metal pieces, an occasional light coat of wax or polish helps preserve the finish. Porcelain and glass items should be hand-cleaned gently to protect painted or gilded details.
