Description
Description
This tableau captures the profound stillness of the Holy Family, a quintessential motif that has anchored Christian iconography since the fourth century. By centering the composition on the tender interaction between Mary, Joseph, and the infant Jesus, the work echoes the tradition of the Presepio—the practice of recreating the Nativity scene that was famously popularized by Saint Francis of Assisi in 1223. The surrounding ornamentation, featuring intricate botanical motifs and the cross, aligns with the ecclesiastical art traditions that sought to transform domestic spaces into sites of contemplation and reverence, inviting the observer to reflect on the humble origins of the Christmas narrative. This piece belongs to the themes of sacred art, liturgical devotion, and traditional holiday heritage, serving as a contemplative anchor for those honoring the spirit of the Advent season within their home.

Care
Care
Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, and prolonged exposure to moisture or direct sunlight. For bronze and metal pieces, an occasional light coat of wax or polish helps preserve the finish. Porcelain and glass items should be hand-cleaned gently to protect painted or gilded details.
