Description
Description
In Norse mythology, a valkyrie is a group of female angelic figures who choose the worthy warrior among the slain. The valkyries take their chosen to the Norse afterlife, Vahalla, a majestic hall located in Asgard. The dead warriors join their legendary group of heroes and kings as they prepare for the Norse end game of Ragnarok.
Traditionally valkyries also have the power to judge victories from the warring factions, this gave the Viking warriors a reason to defy the logic of death, and view death on the battlefield as an aspired end to one’s life, because without a death on the battle the Viking warriors lose the opportunity to enter Vahalla.

Care
Care
Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, and prolonged exposure to moisture or direct sunlight. For bronze and metal pieces, an occasional light coat of wax or polish helps preserve the finish. Porcelain and glass items should be hand-cleaned gently to protect painted or gilded details.
